New Photo Shows Tashfeen Malik and Syad Farook Entering USA |
In the words of David Bowdich, the F.B.I. Assistant Director in charge of the L.A. field office,
"As the investigation has progressed, we have learned and believe that both subjects were radicalized and have been for quite some time."The F.B.I's top goal right now is to determine how the terrorist couple became radicalized and by whom, and where.
The investigation has now spread from Redlands/San Bernardino to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, but the F.B.I. is still searching for clues locally. They have not ruled out arresting Farook's father, Syed Farook Sr. or his mother Rafia Farook.
Farook’s father recently gave an interview to an Italian media outlet in which he revealed first-hand knowledge that his son supported the so-called Islamic State’s ideology.
The father obviously should have notified authorities at that point. He told the new outlet the following:
The father obviously should have notified authorities at that point. He told the new outlet the following:
“My son said that he shared [IS leader Abu Bakr] Al Baghdadi’s ideology and supported the creation of the Islamic State. He was also obsessed with Israel.”The mother, Rafia Farook is reportedly also an active member of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), which promotes the establishment of a caliphate and is connected to a radical Pakistani political group called Jamaat-e-Islami. She received a certificate of appreciation from ICNA’s sisters wing last summer.
The F.B.I. is not ruling out the idea that others may be involved.
“We have found evidence of pre-planning. We want to find out everyone who profited from it [and] financed it… we will leave no stone unturned, just like I’ve said in the past.”The F.B.I. has also learned that a $28,500 deposit was made into Farook's bank account from WebBank.com on November 18th, two weeks before the attack. On November 20th Farook withdrew $10,000 cash. In the days before the shooting , there were at least three transders of $5,000 that appear to be to Farook's mother.
She should give up the money immediately.
The F.B.I. has theorized that the $10,000 cash may have gone to the terrorists old Riverside neighbor, Enrique Marquez, who purchased two weapons for Farook and Malik.
John E. Angelo, the special assistant agent in charge of the Bureau of Alchohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said that Mr. Farook purchased three guns legally under his own name. Two others were bought by Enrique Marquez, a former neighbor of Farook's in Riverside.
F.B.I. Agent David Bowdich also said that the terrorist couple had honed their shooting skills just days before the attack at the Riverside Magnum Gun Range near San Bernardino. John Galleta, a firearm instructor at the range confirmed Syed Farook had visited.
Lastly, and most unbelievably, the leader of the Counsel for American, Islamic Relations has blamed the attack on America. "Let's not forget that some of our own foreign policy, as Americans, as the West, have fueled that extremism."
This statement is extremely off putting considering the circumstances, and frankly the opposite of what is true.
The truth is there are more Sunni Muslim on Shiite Muslim sectarian terrorist attacks within the middle east than there have ever been in the West. Is America's foreign policy to blame for those too?
It's actually the other way around! Half the reason America expanded its Navy as a fledgling nation was because Muslim pirates routinely attacked our trade ships, murdered merchants, thieved, raped women, held them hostage for ransom, and more -think Caption Phillips in the 19th century.
In addition, Muslims have stated for a thousand years that they believe their "religion" is destined for world domination. They are hell bent on taking over the globe and won't stop.
History has shown all too often that when they are powerful they routinely attack anyone who doesn't share a belief in Islam. They saw off the heads of innocents who happen to be in their path, burn them alive, conduct mass shootings in front of mass audiences, and more.
When they are weak they practice "Tiqqya" -a license to lie, from Allah. A directive to lay in waiting until they become powerful enough to attack.
Muslims will use anything from the "gold standard" to "it's America's fault because they want our oil" to justify their violence. The reality is American's invented the uses for oil and made them rich beyond belief, yet their dictators and corrupt ways have led them to where they are today. They have been violent aggressors since their religions inception. In the words of country music artist Eric Church, "I don't believe there will ever be peace in that middle east."
